A superb Untreated Pleiochroic Andalusite from Spain. This is the nicest Spanish Andalusite I have ever seen. Far superior to most Andalusite from this locality. This gem is masterfully cut and displays the color transition wonderfully. The pleiochroism is strong shifting from a brown yellow green to red depending on the angle of view and of light source. Looks much better in person.
